Many of us have different aspirations and goals, as students work hard at what they want to accomplish, and the dreams they want to reach many go the extra mile in order to extend their knowledge in the field of work they want to be in.

Peyton Monroe is one of those dedicated and focused individuals, his dream of being a sports broadcaster arouse at an early age; Mostly due to his passion of football, as a former member of the 2016 and 2017 Carthage Football State Champion Squad, he states: “My interests in broadcasting emerged once I realized that I wouldn’t be able to play anymore. so I figured that the best thing was to broadcast It.”

As his zealous desire to continue in the field of sports and his love for football were not to be deterred;  Peyton has found out that destiny has paved the path in other direction ” My interest in broadcasting sparked  from my very first love, football, I love football and I love talking – so I combined the two.”

To be in broadcasting is not easy, to overcome nervousness, panic, and public apprehension, is an obstacle ” The challenges I have to overcome are: people will throw you in the dirt for any tiny mistake you make on the air, you also have to be careful what you say on the air as well”.

No matter how many challenges Peyton Faces; He encounters them with a positive outlook and optimism. His future is being weaved by the experiences in the field of broadcasting “my aspirations for my future are simple, work my way up in the industry and to eventually either broadcast on T.V. or work for ESPN being on the air –  either T.V. or radio.”

Peyton’s future seems to be forged on the foundation of enthusiasm, love, and commitment  for the two things he is passionate about Football and broadcasting.
