Pipers present ‘A Night of Halloween’

The Panola Pipers will perform the Halloween Show on the Carthage Square on Halloween night.

The Panola Pipers sang and danced to Halloween favorites in a performance at 7 p.m., Monday, Oct. 30 in the Frances B. Ross Ballroom of the Charles C. Matthews Foundation Student Center at Panola College. A repeat performance is scheduled for Halloween on the Square on Tuesday, Oct. 31, with the show scheduled to start about 5:30, weather permitting.

The Panola Pipers include Funminiyi Alabi of Nigeria, Shelby A. Brown of Tatum, Ahmadreion L. Casel of Jacksonville, Brittany C. Fendall of Shreveport, Emma N. Harden of Lindale, Lauren B. Harris of El Paso, Tyesha B. High of Jacksonville, Madison B. Hudson of Nacogdoches, Shannon C. James of California, Hunter B. Moon of Beckville, Pamela Nichole Painter of Marshall, Kyana M. Reagan of Lufkin, Mia A. Sartor of Carthage, Ahna M. Stacy of Carthage, Jame’Cia B. Taylor of Georgia, Sydnee J. Taylor of Carthage, and Keairra D. Ware of Carthage.

Shannon James and Ahna Stacy choreographed the show. Guest performers included Walker Pahlman as Boris, and Tyler Ryan as the announcer. Dwaine Hubbard and Emma Harden ran the sound, and Sandra Bauer, professor of vocal music, was the director.

The program included “Double Trouble,” “Thriller,” “Monster Mash,” “I’m in Love with a Monster,” “Purple People Eater,” and “Little Shop of Horrors: A Choral Medley.”
