Panola College Foundation awards $65,167 in faculty, staff grants


The $65,167 in faculty and staff grants will go toward supporting programs and initiatives at the College.

The Panola College Foundation awarded 23 grants which totaled $65,167, the Foundation’s largest award to date, to seven different areas at Panola College. The grants will go toward supporting various programs and initiatives.

Dr. John Ray, the Chair of the Panola College Foundation, announced the recipients of the grants at a faculty and staff meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 11 at the College.

“The Panola College Foundation is proud to support the faculty and staff at Panola College,” said Dr. Ray. “Through the numerous applications we receive each year, the dedication and commitment Panola College employees have for their students is obvious.”

The 2021-2022 grants include funding for the following:
