The Panola College Chorale will join with other singers from around the region in a performance with the Shreveport Symphony Orchestra at 7 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 16 at First Baptist Church in Shreveport. The Chorale was invited to participate in “Look at the World – Timeless Music, Ageless Beauty,” according to Sandra Bauer, Panola College director of choral activities.

“Our students have done an outstanding job preparing for this concert,” Bauer said. “To sing in a collaborative choir with an orchestra will be a memory that will last a lifetime.”

Jonathan Burton, tenor, will highlight the performance. Randy Edwards will serve as conductor for the concert. The concert is free and open to the public. While no admission will be charged, donations will be accepted to benefit Volunteers of America.

The event is presented by YouthCUE, an interdenominational organization that seeks to positively impact the lives of young people through the youth choir experience.

First Baptist Church is located at 543 Ockley Drive, Shreveport, LA.
