NSLS to present Sir Richard Branson on video

NSLS will present Sir Richard Branson in a video event on Tuesday, Oct. 17.

The Panola College chapter of the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) will participate in a video event with Sir Richard Branson at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 17 in the Frances B. Ross Ballroom A of the Student Center.

Branson is a humanitarian, activist, adventurer and business icon. He is the founder of the Virgin Group, a leading international investment group and one of the world’s most recognized and respected brands in sectors including mobile telephony, travel and transportation, financial services, leisure and entertainment, and health and wellness.  In 2004, Branson established Virgin Unite, the non-profit foundation of the Virgin Group, which unites people and entrepreneurial ideas to create opportunities for a better world.

During the broadcast, Branson will share candid details of a lifetime of triumphs and failures learned over the 50 years since he started his first business.  Branson will share an intimate look into his never-ending quest to push boundaries, seek new frontiers and make the world better for future generations.

“I hope you will take advantage of this unique opportunity,” said Corey Johnson, NSLS faculty adviser. “Our chapter of the Society is happy to host this broadcast event, free of charge, for the entire campus community.”

Future NSLS video broadcasts will feature Wendy Williams on October 24, and Simon Sinek on November 8.
