NSLS to broadcast Wendy Williams Oct. 24


NSLS hosts a live stream event at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 24 in the ballroom.

The Panola College National Society of Leadership and Success will broadcast Wendy Williams at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 24, in the Frances B. Ross Ballroom A. Streamed live, the even is hosted by Montclair State University in New Jersey, and is free to all students, faculty and staff.

Williams is an American television host, actress, New York Times best-selling author, fashion designer, and former radio personality. She is best known for her brash, honest style that delves deep into her own personal life, touching difficult subjects and often leading to on-air spats with celebrities and guests. She was inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame and has received multiple nominations at the Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Talk Show Host. Her show has received awards for Outstanding Talk Show and Entertainment.

“All viewers are invited to submit questions via Twitter and Facebook, which can be answered live during the broadcast,” said Corey Johnson, Panola College faculty sponsor for NSLS. “We are convinced that Williams will provide an informative and entertaining broadcast.”
