Brian Naples, professor of political science, will be discussing political cartoons, with an emphasis on Dr. Seuss, in a lunchbox lecture on Tuesday Sept, 8, 2015, at 12 pm.

Didn’t know Dr. Seuss was into politics? Seuss actually started writing political cartoons in 1941 for the New York newspaper PM, and published over 400 cartoons between April 1941 and January 1943.

If you want to learn more come to the lunchbox lecture! The lecture will be held in the Murphy-Payne Community room of the library and is free to the community.  A light lunch will be served for the first 50 visitors attending.
