Manchado, Harper — where will they go?
As baseball fans anxiously await opening day of baseball season (March 28), some baseball fans are waiting on two premier players to sign with new teams.
Former Baltimore Orioles shortstop Manny Machado, who is widely known for his cannon of a right arm, absolutely crushing baseballs and not hustling to first base when needed. He was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers this past season where the Dodgers were the World Series runners up for the second year in a row.
The Dodgers made the pennant series back in 2017 and 2018 where they lost both series 4-3 to the Houston Astros and 4-1 to the Boston Red Sox.
The other top tier free agent is former Washington Nationals and former first overall pick, Bryce Harper.
Harper is most commonly known, much like Machado, for his amazing power versus right- and left-handed pitching and a cannon of an arm out in right field.
Both players are deserving of max contracts in the Majors.
The teams that I think could potentially sign one, if not both, guys are
Philadelphia Phillies
San Diego
Los Angeles Dodgers
Chicago Cubs
Chicago White Sox
