Members of the Panola College History Club visited the Norton Art Gallery and Gardens in Shreveport, and later visited the Mansfield Battleground in optional off-campus activities recently.

“The goal of our visit to the Norton was to view the exhibit of World War I memorabilia and posters that have been on display,” said Bill Offer, history professor and club sponsor.

Club members toured the Mansfield, La., battleground. Those participating included Erin Keating, Lynn Hope, Serna Rascoe, Lydia Woods, Dillan Peloquin, Shelby Watson, Drew Diverdi, Professor Gayle McFarland, Professor Bill Offer, Rhyna Offer, Maryia Adashchyk, Weronika Nowakowska, Abigail Parrish, Yareli Salinas, Addison Pope, Jasmine Ryan, Tailer Chong and Maelbi Calderon.
