Fillies Volleyball dominates for breast cancer awareness

On Wednesday, Oct. 8, Fillies Volleyball hosted a “Dig Pink” game to support the Susan G. Komen Foundation and raise breast cancer awareness. The Panola College volleyball team shut down Lamar St – Port Arthur in four sets at home (25-14, 25-22, 20-25, 25-23).

The Fillies were led by the trio of Nathali Chaves (16 kills, 2 aces), Kennedi Coleman (15 kills 3 blocks), and Chantel Woodard (10 kills, 4 blocks). Brittany Lampkin added 8, and Ty Goudeau contributed 5 kills on 8 swings.

Setter Adriana Skipper led PC in assists picking up 26, and Sierra Moses added 21 respectively.

Justine Luis led the defense with 17 digs, Nathali Chaves added 12, and Victoria Valdez picked up 7 of her own.
