The Fillies bounced back from Wednesday’s loss with a win against the Bossier Parish , 98-68. The Fillies defense was integral to their win, holding the Cavaliers to 15 points in the 1st quarter, 17 points in the second, and a mere 8 in the third. The defense propelled the offense in this game. The lead ballooned to over 30 late in the second half.

Leading the Fillies in scoring, as well as in rebounding was Masha Adashchyk with 17 and 10 on the night. Daryna Barchkarova and Alicja Falkowska rounded out the double digit scoring with 13 a piece. Falkowska was a perfect 7-7 from the charity stripe. The two Louisiana natives, Jolie Williams and Mikalya Etienne lead in their own ways. Williams was a perfect 3-3 from the three-point line, while Etienne led the team in steals on the defensive end with eight.

The Fillies (9-8 overall, 4-3 in conference) return to AJ Gymnasium on Wednesday, January 23rd where they will face the Jacksonville College Jaguars in District 14 action.
