Q: Favorite thing about Panola College?

A: The extra-curricular avtivities provided here. We also have a great music program, which I am involved in.

Q: Are you involved in any activities at Panola?

A: Yes, choir, band, and the Panola Pipers.

Q: What made you choose Panola?

A: It’s not too far from home and I already know most of the people here. Plus, this a good start-off college.

Q: What are your plans for the future?

A: After Panola I plan to transfer to SFA and major in musical composition, then hopefully become involved in music production.

Q: What is your motivation/inspiration to further your education?

A: To better myself, for the most part, and I hope that going to college will place me where I need to be in life.

Q: Do you have any special talents?

A: Yes, I have perfect pitch*. It’s my secret musical weapon that I was born with. I didn’t know I had it until I got involved with music.

*Perfect pitch, also called absolute pitch, is a rare auditory phenomenon characterized by the ability of a person to identify or re-create a given musical note without the benefit of a reference tone. Studies show that 1 in 10,000 people have absolute pitch.
