SGA’s upcoming activities for Panola students
SGA will be participating in the Fill the Bus Food Drive on Nov. 15 presented by Wiley College. SGA will be putting up flyers of the canned goods, and monetary donations will also be accepted if you do not wish to purchase any cans on your own. The money will be used by SGA members to purchase the cans after donations are no longer being accepted. Nov. 4-14 SGA will also be collecting cans around the town of Carthage. Members of the SGA will be visiting local schools to hand out flyers and to encourage student participation in the drive. If you wish to donate, bring canned goods to Mr. Naples’ office during his office hours.
Wednesday, Nov. 13 SGA will be hosting a game show night in the auditorium at 8 p.m. Minute to Win it will be the game of choice. Students will receive tickets with numbers when they walk in the door. Random numbers will be drawn, the student with the matching number will come up and attempt to complete the challenge in 60 seconds. 20 students will get the chance to come up one by one and attempt their challenges. After 20 students have gone, the ones who succeeded in their challenge will compete head to head in a final challenge. First to complete the final challenge will be the winner. Winner will receive a prize awarded by SGA.
