Brian Naples, SGA faculty sponsor, said this third year of the 5K was the best yet.
“I wanted to send out a heartfelt thank you to everyone who help set up or participated in the 5k on Saturday,” he said. “The event was a wonderful success! I am just amazed every year at the incredible, supportive nature of both the campus community and the people of Carthage. There are so many people to thank for making the 5k a success that I have no idea where to begin. You all did such a wonderful and marvelous job. We will be letting you all know what the final numbers to the event are as soon as we can put them together.”
The fundraising event, sponsored by the Student Government Association, supports the Panola College Foundation. Funds are used to fund scholarships for students and to provide grants for instructional activities.
