The Pi Beta chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society will host its Panola College spring induction Thursday, Mar. 23 at 6 p.m. in the Frances B. Ross Ballroom.
Inductees are encouraged to bring their family and friends to this ceremony. After the inductees receive their certificates they will hear from guest speaker and Panola College professor, Becky Gullette.
“We are excited for our new inductees,” says Emily Zabcik, Pi Beta advisor. “This is a great opportunity for students to join an academic community, volunteer, and excel in their next endeavor.”
Phi Theta Kappa is an international honor society. Membership is by invitation only, and all members must have a 3.5 or higher GPA and must meet other requirements set by the Pi Beta chapter. The Panola chapter is co-sponsored by Tonya Fotinos and Emily Zabcik.
