Panola College Cosmetology students set to graduate this semester will showcase their creative talents and skills with Project Runway at 7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 18 in the Ballroom.
“This event has really snowballed,” said Bobbie Smith, Cosmetology instructor. In addition to the 16 Cosmetology students, other campus groups are getting into the act. Communication students will shoot photos and video, and a theatre student will serve as emcee.
Cosmetology students will have cut, possibly added color or highlights, given their models facials, manicures and pedicures, and expertly applied makeup to enhance the wardrobe they selected for their model.
Participating Cosmetology students are Dulce Esmeralda Avalos, Bethany Louise Blanton, Emily Buckley, Krissi McCary Clark, Nathan Clark, Stacy Lynn Davis, Lindsey Kathleen Dry, Sandy Nicole Dudley, Amber I. Evans, Britney Nicole Fairchild, Amy Elizabeth Faulkenbery, Christina Danielle Fulsom, Zoe Juays, Haleigh Kathleen Parker, Victoria Elizabeth Rios, and Britney Yarbrough.
“Each graduating student in the Cosmetology department has a model that they have styled from head to toe,” Smith added. “It will be a fun-filled evening, so please come and share in the fun.”
