However with new freedoms comes new responsibilities, and that is what you have to know when you head into college. It is a totally different environment than high school. I am in my third year of college and I have adjusted but I still find myself thinking about how different it was in high school. I am proud to be out of high school and love the college life.
The differences are huge, in high school you are notified about everything even if you don’t care to know, but in college its all your responsibility to take care of all of your classes and assignments. Sometimes it gets overwhelming especially the freshman year, because of the freedom and meeting new people. Through all the new experiences you have to remember where you are which is college, which follows you forever. The mistakes are there, although you can fix some mistakes it can be time consuming and frustrating to have to retake courses that you failed. Through all of it you have to stay focused and pass so there are no regrets
