Thursday, April 13 is the last day for students at Panola College to drop a class with a “W.” Dropping a class with a W simply means that the student is withdrawing from the course. It does not effect their GPA. However, students should keep in mind that they may only drop six classes during their time at college.
Students who wish to drop a class should pick up an add/drop form from the Student Success Center, located on the top floor of the Charles C. Matthews Foundation Student Center on the Carthage campus. Students should realize that the form must be signed by their instructor, ELearning if it is an online class, Financial Aid or Scholarship grantor if applicable, and the Residence Hall Supervisor if staying in the dorms.
