Panola College has installed three mobile device charging stations to keep students connected while on campus. The Kwikboost charging stations are located in the Student Center, the foyer of the Science Building and near the cafe in the M.P. Baker Library foyer.
“We know that our students rely on their mobile devices for everything, including communicating with their professors and friends,” said Don Clinton, Vice President of Student Services.
Kyle Cage, Educational Technology Coordinator, suggested that Panola add charging stations as a student service. After researching options, the college selected Kwikboost, which is the number one provider of charging stations on campuses nationwide.
The charging stations are mounted on the wall and include a handy shelf for a variety of devices including cell phones and tablets. The stations will charge over 95 percent of devices, including laptops.
