Gallery exhibits student work through Dec. 12

Art, photography and ceramics created by Panola College students is currently on display in the Allison Gallery of the M.P. Baker Library. The exhibit runs through Thursday, Dec. 12. Ann Boland’s art students and Teresa Beasley’s photography students submit their best work for display in this end-of-semester event.

Participating students include Brandi Arnold, Kimyonia Bowman, Jina Yule, Harrison March, Josh Renfro, Margo Hooper, Heather Harrison, Morgan McPherson, Brianne Borders, Macie Innerarity, Victoria Yule, John Zabcik, Claribel Sanchez, Haley Griffith and Kourtny Miller.

Others include Andi Seals, Samantha Fairless, Kasey Kindley, Kathryn Morton, Davis Richards, Colleen McMullen, Tayler Wilson, Laura Lindsey, Taylor Edwards, Amanda Clanton, Ashley Lucas, Melanie Pinkston, Joumana Tabch, Gennie Patterson, Chanah Osborne, Marcus Bowman, Maria Brown, Chloe Powell, Jennifer Cools, Aubrey Okray, Maria Palacio, Alex Bell and Johnny Odom.

Art and photography classes are offered through the Panola College Fine Arts and Communication departments.

“I am always impressed with the creativity of our students,” said Freddy Mason, Dean of Liberal Arts and Sciences. “This year’s exhibit shows extraordinary talent in oils, ceramics and photography. I hope everyone will have a chance to stop by the library and view this exhibit.”
