Need to grab a quick bite to eat before your next class or a cup of coffee before your classes even start? Panola Dining Services has three on-campus locations committed to meeting the dining and refreshment needs of Panola’s students, faculty/staff, as well as community members.

Café Panola, the large cafeteria located in student center, features all-you-care-to-eat dining with a variety of well-balanced choices. The Wrangler’s Grill, located next to cafeteria, has a fun and friendly atmosphere for hanging out. It’s a great place for to pick up a burger or grilled chicken sandwich combo (includes fries and a drink).  Panola Pony Expresso, the newest campus dining choice, is a great place to relax and study with delicious deli-style wraps, sandwiches, smoothies, and assorted coffees.

Panola’s Dining Services do their best to cater to each student’s needs and open to any new ideas or suggestions that students may have. Chefs are trying to raise support for an International Night in the cafeteria. This will be where foreign exchange students can bring recipes or dish ideas from their home country to the chefs in the cafeteria. There will be three countries represented during the meal. Other activities that the cafeteria has planned consist of a $5.75 lunch special for faculty and staff for the remainder of the semester and a Finals Breakfast the Sunday before finals start. Chef Jose is planning on having an authentic luau, complete with a kalua pig,  during the spring semester.

Two types of meal plans are offered by Panola’s Dining Services:

19 Meals-a-Week Plan

This plan allows for All-You-Care-To-Eat dining in
Café Panola and it has the added flexibility of combo meal
exchanges at Wrangler’s Grill.

Pony Bucks

An exciting new addition to available meal plans, Pony
Bucks are a declining balance system; you can add to your
balance at any time during the semester in increments of $50,
then use them like cash to purchase meals, snacks, or drinks. They
are valid at Café Panola, Wrangler’s Grill, and the new Panola
Pony Expresso in the library.

If you need to purchase a meal plan, or if you would like to make a change to the plan you have already selected, simply contact the Panola College Business office at 903-693-2000.
